Capcom recently revealed the Collector’s Edition for RE5 for the states. There’s a lot of neat stuff in the package.

A Tricell Messenger bag, a Chris Redfield figurine, a BSAA patch, a Kijuju necklace, and a ’steel’ case(it’s probably not really steel, looks like tin to me). Also included is a second disc filled behind-the-scenes stuff. I’m not entirely sure, but judging from the picture, the second disc seems to be another game disc. Not a DVD or movie Blu-ray disc. You get all of this, plus the game itself, for $90.

Personally, the messenger bag is nice a little gift. I would actually use it. However, I’m not a big fan of figurines, especially ones that come with games. I pre-ordered Soul Caliber 3 back in the day and that Nightmare figurine just ended up gathering dust and eventually died. I suppose that’s what figurines are meant to do, but I wouldn’t pay an extra $30 bucks for that. I will be sure to by the basic game though, cause it really looks kickass.

On a side note, the Xbox 360 version of the Resident Evil 5 Collector’s Edition is exactly the same, it price and contents, except that discs would have the nice little microsoft xbox header on the top instead of the Playstation 3 bottom banner.
